In the past year, Z-Com Creative has deployed numerous websites built on the Drupal open-source content management system. At this time, we feel Drupal offers the best mix of functionality, ease of use for site owners, and security to our clients. Read more about this remarkable system at www.drupal.org. You’ll see it’s the preferred solution for everyone from the White House to Sony. Best of all, because it’s open-source there are no licensing fees.
If Z-Com built your system in 2005-2008, we probably used Interakt. This CMS was purchased by Adobe in 2007 and partially integrated into the Dreamweaver software suite. As such, we are no longer supporting sites built on the Interakt platform. We will continue offering minor fixes and updates as needed, but we will no longer be offering site upgrades using Interakt.
We would like to upgrade your website to the Drupal CMS platform. Here’s why.

- Highly customizable. If we can’t find the perfect solution already worked out in an existing module, we can either customize a module or create something from scratch.
Costs
- A typical conversion, introducing no new functionality or art direction, can typically be done in 20 hours or less. Let us take a look at your specific needs and provide a proposal.
- Until September 1, any conversion project undertaken will be billed at 20% off. This discount will include time spent upgrading art and introducing new functionality. That means we’re working at $80/hour for you throughout the conversion and upgrade process!
- Because Drupal is an open-source system, the core code base and its modules require occasional security and performance updates. These updates typically take about 30 minutes per month to implement if you want your site to remain totally up-to-date. That said, we’ve found we can perform the upgrades quarterly (in, again, about 30 minutes) without much, if any, meaningful impact on the day-to-day operation of the site.
